With our passion for green initiatives and our introduction of Living Walls, we were naturally drawn to the benefits a Living Roof can provide, not only to our clients, but for the environment. We have worked hard to find a system that met our innovative and efficiency goals. We are therefore proud to announce that Green Apple is now a certified Living Wall and Living Roof installer! For more information, there's information on our blog about it. But we won't stop there. . . to ensure our team is at the cutting edge of new technologies and methods, we are working on another certification that incorporates rain water harvesting. Stay tuned for more information on this new way to green up your landscape.

With Green Apple Landscaping's new eco product lines such as Living Walls, Living Roofs, LED Low Voltage lighting and Rain Water Harvesting we have decided to share our passion of sustainable living and building with The National Home Show Dream Gardens. Our contribution is called "GARDEN FOR THE FUTURE", which incorporates all the new eco-elements that Green Apple provides. Imagine, we are building a 1700 square foot garden in four days! The show takes place for 10 days starting February 19 at the Direct Energy Centre at the Exhibition. Please join us at The National Home Show with complimentary tickets.

Green Apple is excited to announce the integration of a new ground breaking "professional management system" that has been created for the landscaping industry to serve (you), our clients, better than ever! This system provides employee training to ensure that Green Apple Landscaping has the most knowledgeable staff and the safest staff. We now have procedures and protocols that will let us deliver the high quality customer service that we pride ourselves on. With the anticipated growth, we are making sure we can not only maintain the CORE of Green Apple Landscaping but improve upon it.

Promotions
Due to our continuing expansion, John Morra has been promoted to Operations Manager and Senior Estimator. With his new role, he will oversee our two crews and look over the quotations for a new estimator we are hiring. John's promotion opens up two foreman positions - stepping into these roles will be Victor Traicus and Travis Dervent. Victor brings a passion for building to his new position. He has excelled as a Lead Hand on our crew, solving difficult building challenges with ease. Travis, a newly licensed electrician and "jack of all trades", is a skilled landscape technician. He can install anything from a line voltage GFI plug to square-cut flagstone. Congratulations to all concerned.
